Here's a neat little tryptych of the fireworks show in Kemah on Friday night. I don't know why, but they're having fireworks every Friday in June. Just for the heck of it, I guess. That's as good a reason as any.

This was my first try at shooting fireworks, and I think it went pretty well. I found a fairly dark vacant lot on the Seabrook side of the lake channel and set up my tripod and cable release. Set the aperture, used bulb mode, and when the fireworks began I just started experimenting!
