Windmill farm along Interstate 580, seen while driving east from Oakland on our way to Yosemite National Park. I can't explain it, but this is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. I'm fascinated by windmills. They're a pretty awesome sight.

In other news, I'm in and around Seattle for the next few days, seeing some sights, taking in a baseball game, and hitting the trails around Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Park. The photoblog's on auto-pilot, and I'll be back next Wednesday.

Update: This was selected as a Noteworthy photo for the 9/13 Photo Friday challenge, Order. Thanks to all who voted!
