I have many complaints about the Charlotte airport, but this is not one of them. A long row of white wooden rocking chairs lines the large hall between terminals. Another row sits on a balcony overlooking the busy concourse. The airport could have put in benches, or armchairs, or couches. Instead, they chose rocking chairs.

Brilliant.

(Side note: I've just listed this blog at Photoblogs.org and am seeing an increase in hits as a result. I'm very interested in improving my photography skills, since at the moment I'm basically starting from scratch -- not in terms of quantity of pictures taken because I've always been snap-happy, but certainly in terms of quality!
